Hi all, So as you know even though the growing season is more or less over, there’s still lots to be done in the garden in autumn. I’ve been ill for the last week but today, I got myself up and out in the garden. My objective was to clear my 3 raised beds and in the process, undertake the last harvest! I started with the raised beds that housed my strawberries & parsnips (I also grew carrots there but they have been harvested already) . Clearing the foliage was east enough. I was actually surprised to see how much foliage the parsnips produced since the last time I tended them. So although removing the foliage was easy, getting those root vegetables out was no joke! They were well and truly stuck! I had to leave that for my hubby to help with after harvesting 3 or 4! I then turned my attention to the tomatoes. What a jungle! You would never know it once shared it’s home with broad beans! As I pulled the plants, I noticed I still had quite a lot of fruit left on the vines. It
